Jake, the Nova Now Voyager-Final Chapter
Jake and my second homeland
A free form poem of our activities before travel and in Greece
Updating lists for closing down the house, ordering euros, preparing medical certifications
And then…
Constant airline calls and updates with contradictory information
And then…
I caught a mistake from vet. It was too late
And then…
Ready, await certification
We are certified, we are ready to go
And then…
One year old Mac Mini dies, travel to Tacoma, WA
We have to buy a new one, get a free one upon return
And then….
Travel to airport at SeaTac to obtain rental car, get nails and toes done
And then…
Return rental car to SeaTac
Arrive at airport hours in advance
A very unfriendly representative of Lufthansa harasses me and tells me that Jake cannot travel because she doesn’t like his brand new crate
Her staff disregards her orders and both dogs travel
Brought dog crates, extra suitcase and two animals
And then…
Arrive in Frankfurt-have to walk down 200 steps-no elevator
Having PTSD allowed me special assistance in Frankfurt, treated well
And then…
Arrived in Greece. Treated like royalty including both dogs.
Picked up our car and treated beautifully again.
And then…
We drive home
And then…
Been in sunny Greece with sunshine, sunshine, and more sunshine
Day trips, friends, more furniture for Jake’s sunny beach villa
Running, jumping in the yards overlooking the mountains, and sea
Follow Jake’s Travels
And
